Monthly Mantra: Breathe

A Monthly Mantra: Do you have one? A theme or saying each week or month that helps guide your path?

I’ve started doing this and taking it into my daily interactions and movement practice. I always say, there’s only one rule in Pilates: breathe.

Time to connect to breath. To notice if I’m holding tension with my tongue on the roof of my mouth. Isn’t it strange where and how we hold tension?

Time to breathe in. Time to connect. Time to let it out.
