It all began when they said No

on the topic of core values

Doing the right thing forced me out of a nonprofit. Speaking my mind often led to closed doors. Thinking outside the box led me down many paths to “No.”

So I reframed—their no was the opportunity to say yes to myself!

Gumption is inspired by my own teenage rebellion, an unapologetic sense of self, and a spirit of nonconformity. Apparently, it’s rebellious to do it your own way. Gumption is for those who choose to move outside the mold, listen to their gut, and find their own rhythm.
